Meeting Industry Award winners for Innovation, Horwood House is a place where ideas are encouraged to flow. We like to work with you and think creatively, so it is not just the space that inspires, but the way your event is delivered.

We have applied some out of the box thinking and designed our conference and boardrooms to work as hard as you do. With 15 flexible meeting areas, we can accommodate smaller meetings, larger conferences for up to 270 delegates, or a combination of both. As part of our £6 million refurbishment, high-tech AV facilities have been installed throughout the hotel, supporting seamless presentations, meetings, awards and events. Our approach to innovation and service has been recognised through industry awards and continues to shape how we deliver every event.

We are happy to fuel the captains of industry too. 1911 and Harry’s Bar & Kitchen offer light, contemporary dining with seasonal menus that change throughout the year. Our food and beverage team were finalists at The Hotel Cateys, reflecting the creativity and consistency behind our dining experience. Larger numbers can be catered for in the Cook and Eyre Suites, while the Manor Library and Burton Suite are popular private dining spaces for up to 12 guests. Alternatively, enjoy coffee and snacks in our award-winning Crisis Coffee Lounge and support a worthy charity. Wherever you choose to dine, our kitchen team will create menus using locally sourced, fresh ingredients to energise your team.

If you are staying overnight, innovation continues behind the scenes. We have moved away from plastic in favour of bamboo door keys, door hangers and pens, a change appreciated by many of our guests. Sustainability is an ongoing focus for us and we are proud to hold Greengage Certification. Last year, our bedroom scheme raised over £10,000 for Crisis, allowing guests to enjoy a comfortable stay while knowing they are supporting an important cause.
