The nearest airport is Luton, approximately 40 minutes away by car. Heathrow is just over an hour's drive.
What's the closest train station to the hotel?
Milton Keynes Central is our closest train station, a 15-minute drive by car. It's a mainline station with regular links to London, Birmingham and Manchester.
Do you have electric vehicle charging points?
Yes, we have EV charging points managed by ROAM Electric Vehicle chargers. Download the ROAM app to pay for your charge – just search 'Roam EV Charging' in your app store.
Is there a cycle rack at the hotel?
Yes, we have a cycle rack located in the stable courtyard.

What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available from 3pm and check-out is 11am. If you'd like to check out after 11am, please speak to Reception as soon as possible – availability is subject to a charge.
What facilities are included with my room?
Your television has a range of Freeview TV and radio channels, and there's free WiFi throughout the hotel. If you're having WiFi issues, please speak with Reception. Guests in suites and those on a spa package receive complimentary robes and slippers.

What time is breakfast served and what's included?
Breakfast is served in our 1911 restaurant with a full hot and cold buffet ranging from a cooked English breakfast to pastries and continental options.

Weekends and Bank Holidays: 7:30am – 10:30am
Can I have afternoon tea at Horwood House?
Yes, we serve afternoon tea from 12 noon until 4pm, featuring freshly prepared finger sandwiches, pastries and elaborate cakes with a choice of tea blends and coffee. Please book in advance by calling 01296 722100 to check availability.
What are Harry's Bar & Kitchen opening times and what do you serve?
Harry's Bar & Kitchen is open 7 days a week serving everything from light fish dishes and salads to steaks and charcoal grill dishes. We also have an extensive wine, beer and local gin selection. Lunch is served from 12 noon, with last food orders at 9pm.
Can I dine in my room?
Yes, room service is available. Just let our reception team know when you arrive. A tray charge will apply.
Can I bring my own food and drink into the hotel?
No, please do not consume food and drink that hasn't been purchased at Horwood House in the grounds, dining rooms, bar, spa or other public areas.

Pool:
Adults (17+): Tues–Fri 7:30am–8pm; Sat–Mon 8am–8pm
Children (under 16): Daily 9am–10am and 4pm–6pm only
Gym: Daily 6:30am–10pm
Treatments: Daily 9am–6pm
Do hotel guests have pool and gym access?
Yes, as a resident, you have access to our 15m swimming pool and well-equipped gym from check-in until 11am on your day of departure. A robe and slippers are provided to guests in suites and those on spa packages.
What spa treatments do you offer?
We offer a range of indulgent Caudalie treatments including facials, massages, body treatments and wraps. We also offer nail treatments (classic manicures, pedicures, gel) and pregnancy treatments. To check availability and book, call 01296 722222 or email enquiries@hspahorwood.co.uk.
What spa memberships are available?
We offer memberships for individuals, couples and families. Full details are available on our memberships page.
Can children use the pool and spa facilities?
Children under 16 can use pool facilities during splash times only (9am–10am and 4pm–6pm daily). Children under 16 cannot use the gym or spa lounge areas. However, children aged 14+ can enjoy a reduced treatment menu and pool access during splash times.
Can I use the tennis courts?
Yes, our guests can use the tennis courts subject to availability. Please ask Reception for rackets and balls if you don't have your own.
Your Room & Services
Do you offer laundry and dry cleaning services?
Yes, our laundry service has a 24-hour turnaround time. Contact Reception and ask for Housekeeping. Please note that charges apply, and the service may take longer on weekends and busier periods.
What business services are available?
We offer photocopying, scanning and printing at a small charge. Please speak to Reception when you arrive if you need these services.

Families & Children
Are children welcome at Horwood House?
Yes, children are always welcome. We have Executive Suites available with a sofa bed suitable for two small children (under 12 only). Some Deluxe Rooms can accommodate a trundle bed at a cost of £10. As availability is limited, please book in advance by calling Reception.
What are the children's pool splash times?
Children under 16 can use the pool during designated splash times:
9:00am–10:00am
4:00pm–6:00pm (daily)
Children under 16 cannot use the gym or spa lounge areas.
Pets & Animals
Are dogs welcome at Horwood House?
Yes, well-behaved small to medium-sized dogs are welcome in designated bedrooms at a charge of £25 per pet. A maximum of two pets are allowed per room and all pets must be on a lead in public areas. Please pick up after them and use the designated dog bins. We also have a select amount of dog-friendly Deluxe King rooms – please call before booking to confirm availability.
You and your dog can also dine in a designated area within Harry's Bar & Kitchen and 1911 Restaurant. A dog policy form must be signed in advance.
Policies & House Rules
What is your no-smoking policy?
We operate a full no-smoking policy at the hotel. Designated smoking areas are located outside the main entrance. Any evidence of smoking in rooms or public areas will incur a penalty of £250.
What is your damage policy?
If you cause damage to hotel property, we reserve the right to reclaim costs for damaged items and loss of room revenue if it's left unfit for resale. A minimum charge of £250 applies. This also applies to damage discovered after check-out.
What is your policy on illegal substances?
Illegal substances are not permitted within the hotel. Guests found in possession or using illegal substances will be asked to leave, and we reserve the right to reclaim room revenue if the room is left unfit for resale.
What are your cleaning and hygiene standards?
The safety and security of our guests and team is a key priority. We're committed to the highest standards of cleaning and infection control. If you'd prefer to wear a mask during your stay, you're welcome to do so.
Other Helpful Information
How can I reduce my environmental impact during my stay?
We care about our effect on the world around us. We encourage guests to switch off unused appliances, reuse towels, and we've placed reusable glass water bottles throughout our bedrooms and function spaces (please don't take them home). We also source our produce locally as much as possible.
