Nestled in the rural tranquillity of Buckinghamshire. Your wedding journey begins as you travel through our breath-taking, tree-lined approach towards our stunning Manor House. Built in 1911, with over a century’s worth of memories, you will find a Manor House full of lavish character. Sweeping staircases, stone fireplaces, chandeliers and beautiful bay lead light windows.
Horwood House has been lovingly restored over the past 2 years with our £6 million refurbishment across all restaurants, bedrooms, event spaces and most recently our beautiful Manor House ground floor.
Our newly refurbished Wedding Ceremony Room is brimming with grand features and has been delicately refreshed to provide a neutral ethereal space for the exchanging of vows. High ceilings with magnificent detailing, an impressive stone fireplace and a stunning bay window present a light and airy stage. Subtly glistening wall coverings and soft botanical prints finish off this calm and romantic room.
Our Ceremony Room leads directly to our Manor Bar and paneled seating area, ideal for winter wedding reception drinks, whilst original stone steps lay way to an abundance of gardens and of course our lily pond for those spring or summer affairs.
Our idyllic outdoor ceremony space offers an entrance through our secret garden gate towards the wedding pavilion. What a magical start to your ceremony!
You and your guests will be astounded by the beauty and charm of our historical gardens, originally designed to be regarded as outdoor rooms. This romantic oasis provides you with plenty of truly endless photographic opportunities and if its a winter wedding you’re after then our stunning Manor Lounge, sweeping staircase and Manor Bar provide beautiful photographic settings as well.
